It was ruled that the game between Beavers and Red Raiders Sunday Oct 5/08 has been declared a double forfeit. An on field argument could not be settled by the teams and the commissioner felt that if neither team could come to an agreement on a judgement call on field then he could not make a decision for them off field. The game will not show in the standings all other teams will have played 11 games these two teams will show 10. It is important to note these teams do not receive a point for a tie. They both receive zero.

Just for clarification and reference. In order to be eligible to play in playoffs, your player must have PLAYED in 5 games during the regular season. Due to the fact that many rosters have not been turned in, Its expected that each team Police this issue on their own and ensure each player has played their mandatory 5 games. Teams with ineligible players for playoffs may be subject to forfeit.

The schedules will be up in the air for the next little while as we work in a record 12th team into the league. Every effort will be made by league to accomodate this team to play 11 games like other teams in the league. The RCMP team (name unknown) will begin their inaugural season against the Rhinos Thursday Sept 4 6:30 at Kinsmen Field.

I will have to add the scores and games onto the full schedule when I get it..it won't allow me to put in part of the schedule and exit. (I learned it the hard way)

I think I speak for everyone in thanking you all for a great season (It always goes too quick)..and hope to see you all next season. Feel free to recruit players and see if we can put more teams in the league next year. Have a great winter everyone. Also a big thank you to David Dutton who has been League Comissioner for the past two seasons. He has turned the reigns over to the new League Commish Dale Fedler. Expect to get things going Mid-August.
